Happy December! Are you ready to get into the Christmas spirit?
I shared a DIY Music-Themed Wreath ornament last week, and this week it’s another upcycled ornament idea!

SUPPLIES:
cardboard
scissors
gum wrappers
string
glue
writing instrument
hole punch
cardboard

If you’d like a template, try resizing the one from the DIY Harp String Art.

Trace a harp shape onto your cardboard. Cut it out, cutting the inside out as well.

Punch a hole toward the top. This is where you’ll put the string for hanging the ornament later.

Separate the foil part of the gum wrapper from the waxy part.

|
Glue the silver part of the wrapper onto both sides of the cardboard cutout, overlapping as you go.
Be sure you keep the hole for the string. |

Once it’s dry, add the string and you’re done!

I think added some ink to distress some of them, but either it doesn’t show up well in the picture above or I hadn’t done it yet when I took the picture.
